Preparation

Step 1 :

Wash and peel the sweet potatoes and cut them in a uniform round shape (not too thick nor too thin).

Step 2 :

Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and add the sweet potatoes. Stir and cover for a while. Let them become a little yellow and a little soft.

Step 3 :

Add the milk (with cream optional) and let it boil. Keep boiling until the milk starts thickening.

Step 4 :

Add sugar as per your taste (as the sweet potatoes are already little sweet), cardamom powder and kesar strands.

Step 5 :

Switch off the gas once it thickens like a rabri.

Step 6 :

Enjoy the healthy dessert hot or at room temperature.
