Banana Walnut Bread

A sweet and tasty breakfast delight that goes well with your morning tea and coffee. You can enjoy it as a snack too!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Put 2 cups maida,1/2 teaspoon each of salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder in a mixing bowl.

Step 2 :

Mash the bananas very well.

Step 3 :

In the mixie jar put 2 eggs, 1/2 cups sunflower oil, 3/4 cups sugar and the mashed banana.

Step 4 :

Run the mixie until a smooth batter is formed.

Step 5 :

Pour this into the dry ingredients in the bowl. Mix well.

Step 6 :

Add 1/2 cup broken walnuts. Mix well.

Step 7 :

Pour into a half size prepared (oiled and dusted with flour) loaf tin.

Step 8 :

Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes.

Step 9 :

Check with a toothpick whether it is fully baked.

Step 10 :

Take it out of the oven when slightly cool.

Step 11 :

Invert, slice and serve warm.
