Masala Rajma

Spicy Rajma curry, a favorite of all North Indians.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Boil rajma with chopped ginger and keep aside

Step 2 :

Cut tomato and onion, blend and make a thick paste of both

Step 3 :

Drop some oil in cooker, after 2 minutes add cumin seeds, ginger - garlic paste, tomato - onion puree

Step 4 :

Next add all masala and salt

Step 5 :

Boil the mixture for 8 to 10 minutes and then add the rajma in to the cooker

Step 6 :

Stir it well and cook covered for 15 minutes

Step 7 :

Serve the hot rajma in a bowl, place butter or cream on top and garnish with coriander leaves.
