Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are very popular in the US. Enjoy these as a snack, breakfast or starter!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Peel and slice the half-boiled eggs.

Step 2 :

Remove the yolks and mash it with fork until they are completely crumbled.

Step 3 :

Prepare the filling by mixing mayonnaise and mustard with yolks. Mash the filing until it becomes a smooth paste. If the filling is stiff, add more mayonnaise little by little.

Step 4 :

Season with salt and pepper as per taste.

Step 5 :

Transfer the filling into a piping bag. Snip one corner if you are using a plastic bag.

Step 6 :

Pipe the filling a little over the cup of each egg white. Alternatively, scoop the filling into the egg whites with a spoon.

Step 7 :

Sprinkle with paprika and finely chopped cilantro or any other favoured herbs.
