Preparation

Step 1 :

Puree 2 medium sized beetroots (3/4 beet puree). Preheat oven to 175 degree Celsius. Sift 205 gm of maida, 4 tsp of cocoa powder, 1.5 tsp of baking powder, a pinch of salt and keep aside.

Step 2 :

Take 1/2 cup of milk and add 1 tbsp. of vinegar and set aside for 5 mins to curdle.

Step 3 :

Add 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup oil and blend to dissolve. Add beet puree and 1 tsp of vanilla essence.

Step 4 :

Add the dry ingredients and beat for 3 minutes. Scoop to cupcake moulds and bake for 20- 25 mins.
