Preparation
Step 1 :
Thinly Powder the digestive biscuits
Step 2 :
Mix 100 gm milkmaid, 40 gm butter, 25 gm castor sugar and knead it to form a dough. Keep in mind the dough should not neither be very soft not very hard (as we will need to roll it with a rolling pin later.)
Step 3 :
Roll the dough in the shape of a cylinder and wrap it in soft transparent plastic and refrigerate it for 4 to 6 hours.
Step 4 :
Now in a similar way knead cocoa powder, 100 gm milkmaid, 40 gm butter and 25 gm castor sugar in the form of dough.
Step 5 :
Repeat step 3. After refrigeration take out both the dough rolls.
Step 6 :
Roll the doughs with a rolling pin into squares (about 3 cms in thickness). Make the biscuit dough slightly bigger in diameter than the chocolate dough
Step 7 :
Place the chocolate dough on top of the biscuit dough and now roll both into a long roll.
Step 8 :
Wrap it in plastic paper and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours.
Step 9 :
Take it out from refrigerator and cut into rounds or ovals as you like.
