"Healthy drink Ragi (Finger millet or Ragulu) malt is also delicious. Ragi has necessary nutrients for everyone.This traditional Indian ragi malt is the ideal beverage to beat the heat in summer.in childhood My Mother used to prepare this for every summer. It is preferred to have for breakfast."

Preparation

Step 1 :

Mix ragi flour with enough water to get a smooth liquid form.

Step 2 :

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan.

Step 3 :

Slowly add prepared Ragi flour liquid to boiling water. Keep mixing to avoid lumps and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 4 :

Add jaggery powder.

Step 5 :

Add cardamom powder. Cook in low flame for 5 minutes with periodic stirring.

Step 6 :

Turn off the stove after this. Can have it either hot or cold. Add milk if needed.
