Khus Khus Thandai

Thandai is a traditional Holi drink that is made from milk, almonds, cardamom powder, pista, khus khus, black pepper powder and much more.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Mix well khas khas, almonds, black pepper, musk melon seeds, fennel seeds, rose petals in water and keep it for 2 hours.

Step 2 :

Add saffron (Kesar) in 2 tablespoon milk and mix well.

Step 3 :

Remove water from step 1 mixture and grind well in mixture with milk.

Step 4 :

Add grinded mixture of step 3 with milk and add cardamom powder, saffron, sugar, ice cubes and mix well. Keep it in refrigerator for 2 Hours.

Step 5 :

Strain the mixture through strainer.

Step 6 :

Pour equal quantity of thandai into 2 individual glass and decorate with kesar, pista and rose petals and serve chilled.
