Preparation
Step 1 :
Take fish, wash it and cut it into equal size.
Step 2 :
Mix well the fish pieces with 4 tsp turmeric and salt. Keep them aside for 15 minutes.
Step 3 :
Heat some oil in a pan.
Step 4 :
Now take onions and slice them
Step 5 :
Fry these onion slices in oil.
Step 6 :
Once they turn golden brown take them out in a bowl.
Step 7 :
Take the fried onions and blend them in the mixer to make a fine paste.
Step 8 :
Take cloves of garlic, red chilies, black cardamom, green cardamom, and black cumin seeds. Mix onion paste with this.
Step 9 :
Add some water and blend all the ingredients together in the mixer to make a thick paste.
Step 10 :
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add cinnamon sticks, cloves and Curry leaves.
Step 11 :
Add onion mixed with other paste in the pan.
Step 12 :
Once the mixture starts turning brown add the 2 tsp turmeric, Coriander powder and 1 tsp red chili powder. Saute.
Step 13 :
Now add the fish pieces, mix it and then add 1 tsp dry ginger powder and some salt. Saute for few mins.
Step 14 : Garnish with
Garnish with Lemon pieces and coriander leaves.
Step 15 : Serve with
Serve hot with rice or roti.
