Preparation
Step 1 :
First clean and boil the crabs for 10 minutes in small amount of water and salt. Let it come to room temperature.
Step 2 :
Than remove the extra big hard cell and separate the big legs keep aside. Soak the khus khus (postak), dalchini and elaichi in warm water for 5 minutes.
Step 3 :
Make a smooth paste by putting in a jar. This is the main masala for gravy. Put a pan on stove, add oil and and jeera. Add chopped onion cook till it golden brown.
Step 4 :
Add ginger garlic paste, cook till the raw smell goes. Now add the grinded paste masala cook for 5 minutes, than add chopped tomato and cover it with a lid till tender.
Step 5 :
Mix thorughly so that it will become a thick gravy. Add haldi and mirchi powder. According how much gravy you want, that much add water and salt let it boil.
Step 6 :
Now the time to add the crabs cook more 5 to 10 minutes in very slow flame so that the masala juice will enter into inside of crabs. Now its ready to eat with rice or chapati. But dont add coriander or curry leaves as it will spoil the real fabulous aroma of crabs.
