Nutritious and comforting, Ragi Halwa is a wholesome sweet that brings together the richness of millet, ghee, and dry fruits.

Cooking Steps

Ragi Halwa

Step 1 :

Chop the Almonds and Pistachios. Grind the cardamom seeds.

Step 2 :

Heat milk in a pan and keep aside.

Step 3 :

Heat ghee in a pan. Add the ragi flour. Keep stirring the flour for about 3-4 minutes. Once the mixture starts bubbling, add sugar and stir well.

Step 4 :

Add hot milk to the ghee and ragi mixture and stir well. The mixture will start thickening. Lower the heat and keep stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

Step 5 :

Add cardamom powder. Switch off the flame and transfer the halwa to a serving dish and garnish with chopped dry fruits.
