Cheesy Chilli Chicken Stuffed Bread Rolls

An Asian-style bread roll stuffed with a delectable mix of fried chilli chicken and cheese. Best with ketchup or green chili sauce and a cup of coffee.

Step 1 :

Cut the boneless chicken breast into 1/2 - 1 inch pieces.

Step 2 :

Marinate it with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chilli flakes, pepper powder, chilli powder, oil and salt for 10-15min.

Step 3 :

Heat oil in a wok/ kadai for frying chicken.

Step 4 :

Add rice flour to the marinated chicken and mix well.

Step 5 :

Deep fry the pieces in hot oil for about 3-4 min, or until a golden crisp skin forms. Do not fry too long as chicken may get dry. Since the pieces are small, it doesn't take long.

Step 6 :

In a pan, heat oil and then add sesame seeds and allow them to splutter. Then add tomato, chilli and soy sauces and mix. Turn off the gas and add the fried chicken and toss it in the sauce mix. Add the shredded cheese in the end. This is the stuffing mix.

Step 7 :

Take bread slice, slice off the crust. Dip one side in a plate of water and then squeeze it to remove excess water and soften it. Put about 2 spoons of stuffing mix in the center and bring the edges together to form a ball. Wet your hands if the bread it dry.

Step 8 :

Serve hot with ketchup.
