Pan Fried Salmon with Onion and Jeera Rice

This recipe is an easy and simple dinner done under 30 minutes. It is rich in omega3 and other nutrients.

Step 1 :

Marinate the fish fillets in salt, pepper and lemon juice. Leave it aside for 20-30 minutes.

Step 2 :

In a vessel, wash and cook rice till done, drain the water and keep it aside.

Step 3 :

In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds to it, allow it to crackle.

Step 4 :

Add chopped onions and green chillies to it and saute it well.

Step 5 :

Add rice to the vessel and mix well, saute it for a minute and keep it aside.

Step 6 :

In another pan heat oil, put the fish fillet, skin down first. Sprinkle red chilly powder, cook for 5 minutes on each side.

Step 7 :

When the fish fillet is done take it out, put beans in the same pan and add oil to it.

Step 8 :

Add salt and pepper to beans and saute till they are soft.

Step 9 :

Serve rice on the plate with the salmon fillet and place beans on the side. Sprinkle some roasted peanuts and chopped coriander leaves as garnish.
