It is a quick healthy snack recipe originally from South India. This goes well with tea or coffee. It is considered as an evening tea time snack.

Step 1 :

Soak rava with curd for 20-30 minutes, in a bowl.

Step 2 :

Mix it well, add a little water if necessary to make a semi runny batter.

Step 3 :

Add chopped onion, tomatoes, chilies, coriander leaves & salt to it and mix it well.

Step 4 :

Using oil, grease an idli steamer and heat it on the stove, once done, pour in the batter and cover it for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5 :

Once done, flip it onto the other side and cook it for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 6 :

Now, take it out in a plate and serve it hot with coconut chutney.
