About the Product

This Lemon essential oil is commonly used for various skin conditions. Lemon essential oil soothes itchiness caused by bug bites, minor cuts, abrasions, etc. 

It relieves eczema and lightens age spots. Since it is astringent, it can improve oily skin. For general skin care, add lemon to carrier oils such as grapeseed or jojoba oil and massage. 

For itchiness of the skin, add a few drops of lemon oil to a bath or a sponge bath.

How to Use

Step1: To use this essential oil for age spots, put two to three drops of lemon oil mixed with a carrier oil on your face twice a day.

Step2: Add a few drops of lemon oil to water or witch hazel, and apply to your face for acne or oily skin. The essential oils may be used in diffusers, potpourri arrangements, bath water and for aromatherapy blends.

Step3: For diffuser use, add a few drops of distilled essential oil in the diffuser basin and light the candle. It can also be added to room spray as an air freshener and for general aromatherapy benefits.

Caution: Although lemon essential oil can help your skin, it can also aggravate your skin. Lemon and other citrus oils can also make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. As with most essential oils, dilute the lemon essential oil in water or a base oil such as grapeseed. Test lemon oil on a small spot of skin to see if you have a reaction before applying it to large areas. Consult a certified aromatherapist for the proper way to use essential oils. Always test a small amount first for sensitivity or allergic reaction. If pregnant or under doctor care, consult a physician. Those with epilepsy are to use with caution.
