Aloo Methi Paratha

It is an easy to make, simple yet healthy paratha.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

In a vessel, boil potatoes along with a pinch of salt and required amount of water.

Step 2 :

Once the potatoes are cooked, peel and smash it well.

Step 3 :

In a pan, heat oil, add chopped onion and saute it for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4 :

Add finely chopped methi leaves and saute it for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat.

Step 5 :

Add the mashed potatoes to the methi mixture and mix it well till it combines.

Step 6 :

Now, add cumin powder, chilli powder, kitchen king, amchur powder and chat masala. Mix it well.

Step 7 :

Allow the mixture to cool, add wheat flour to it add mix nicely. If required add a little water.

Step 8 :

Knead the dough and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 9 :

Make small portions of the dough and roll it into a chapati.

Step 10 :

In a heated tawa, cook parathas on both sides using a little ghee.
