Asparagus Broccoli Salad

Both asparagus and broccoli are rich in folic acid which is essential for pregnant women.

Step 1 :

Cut asparagus into pieces of an inch long.

Step 2 :

Separate the broccoli florets, leave it in hot water for a minute and take it out.

Step 3 :

Now, transfer the florets to cold water and drain the water.

Step 4 :

Heat olive oil in a pan. Add chopped asparagus and broccoli florets to it. Simmer it on the stove, keep tossing occasionally till it becomes tender.

Step 5 :

Add salt, pepper and garam masala, and toss it gently.

Step 6 :

Switch off the stove and add lemon juice.

Step 7 :

Transfer it to a bowl and serve it hot.
