Fudgy Quinoa Brownies

A dark, indulgent and fudgy delight but with a healthy twist! No all-purpose flour is used, which makes these totally gluten-free.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Preheat the oven to 180-degrees Celsius.

Step 2 :

Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease with oil. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.

Step 3 :

Add the cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and stir until smooth. Add the eggs and briskly stir with a spatula until the batter is completely smooth.

Step 4 :

Add the quinoa flour and continue to stir until the batter is smooth. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips to the batter and fold in. Pour the batter into the lined baking dish, tap a few times on the counter.

Step 5 :

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool for at least an hour before slicing.
