Preparation

Step 1 :

To prepare Biuli Dal Er Boda (Bengali Style Urad Dal Vada), grind soaked dal with less water. Take care that the batter shouldnot be very fine.

Step 2 :

To this add the chopped onions, green chillies and sooji along with salt. The sooji makes the outer coat crunchy hence mix it well.

Step 3 :

Drop a spoonful of batter on heated paniyaram pan (on medium flame) and and drizzle few drops of oil into each cavity. Turn carefully with a spoon or spatula after 2 minutes or when one side is golden brown.

Step 4 :

Wait for 2 to 3 more minutes till the other side browns and cooks. then you can take them out on serving plate in batches and serve with roasted tomato sauce or green chutney.
