This product from brand ‘Hersheys’, earlier known as ‘Brookside’, has now been renamed as ‘Hersheys’ ‘Exotic Dark’ for Indian consumers. It contains flavoured ‘center’ chocolate akin to ‘Cadbury’ ‘Shots’. The ‘center’ is primarily flavoured with ‘Raspberry’ and ‘Acai’: termed as ‘Superfoods’ across the world for their nutritional profile(s). While their actual content in the product is too low, the flavours are robust and highly enjoyable. The ‘center’ is slightly tart with bits of ‘gritty’ notes: akin to consumption of ‘Acai’ berries commonly found in ‘Smoothies’ abroad. The chocolate is thick and slightly reminiscent of ‘Hersheys’ ‘Special Dark’ chocolate, albeit with more of an underlying sweetness. Overall, this product is good enough to be recommended for purchase.
