Dautore Prosciutto was first produced by Romans and is one of the oldest Italian deli meats. It was the Romans who left the first written descriptions of its production (cured). According to Italian tradition, large legs need to be used in order to obtain more mature meat, that contains less water. This condition is only passed by prosciutti crudi. They are marked as PDO or PGI once it has matured . Fresho Signature ProscicuttoCrudo Full P.G.I. is produced under the desired conditions to give it the authentic flavour. Manufactured at Italy.
