I believe its highly adulterated, after soaking overnight the water became unusually red. 

got old product but label sticker was sticked above the package 

Tasty...but takes a little extra time to cook, so better soak in water overnight...

It erases the myth that says red rajma doesnt cook well. One of the tastiest rajmas i have ever made. give 2 whistles more than regular

very hard after properly boiled in pressure cooker
