This is nutritional burfi can be enjoyed at any time. This is an apt recipe for those who are diabetic and want to loose weight.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Take a heavy bottom pan and melt ghee in it.

Step 2 :

After the ghee melts, add ragi flour and stir continuously. At this stage, lower your gas flame to prevent ragi flour from burning.

Step 3 :

When the flour turns light brown and aromatic, add cardamom powder and stir it.

Step 4 :

Remove the flour from the gas immediately then let it cool for 5-7 minutes ensure not to cool it completely, as it should be warm.

Step 5 :

Add jaggery in the flour and mix it well. Jaggery will start melting because of the warm texture.

Step 6 :

If texture is little bit dry then add milk 3 to 4 tbsp.

Step 7 :

Grease your dish using ghee and add this mixture to it. Garnish with chopped cashew nuts and raisins.

Step 8 :

Cool it completely and cut it in to diamond or square shape as per your choice.
