Cheesy Moong Chilla

Preparation

Step 1 :

Soak moong dal and rice for about 2-3 hours. After that, rinse them with water and drain the excess the water.

Step 2 :

Mix green chili, ginger, coriander and garlic and blend this in mixer to form a smooth paste.

Step 3 :

Add tomatoes, onion, coriander, salt and jeera powder to the paste. Add water to make a running batter.

Step 4 :

In a hot pan, add some oil and spread the batter to form a chilla.

Step 5 :

When half cooked, on one half side of the chilla, add grated mozzarella cheese. Add some black pepper and salt for extra taste. Fold the other half of the chilla over this. Cook on a low flame until the cheese starts to melt.

Step 6 :

Serve hot the cheese dripping chillas with tomato chutney.
