Sweet Mango Chutney

Raw mangoes cooked in turmeric water and salt and later combined with jaggery to make this sweet& spicy chutney. This dish is the perfect blend of tangy that goes wonderfully well with hot parathas or rice.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Take pan, add 1½ cup of water, mangoes and close the pan let it cook until mangoes become soft and tender.

Step 2 :

For mango mixture, add jaggery, ginger, cumin, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste.

Step 3 :

Stir the mixture about 15 minutes on a low flame and turn off the heat.

Step 4 :

Now allow to cool completely, keep in refrigerate. Serve with paratha or hot steamed rice.
