I had to put this saffron in hot milk for 2 hours for the color to dissolve. Even then the milk turned pale yellow. Usually saffron emit s deep yellow color immediately after putting in milk. This is a terrible quality saffron. Not buying again

don't buy it totally waste of money.. no smell of saffron.. its like a red thread only.
