Punjab Maratha Frozen Chicken Breast - Boneless, 450 g

For a long time, I was looking for a Jhatka-certified meat brand on BigBasket instead of all the Halal-certified ones since I have been advised that the Jhatka slaughter procedure causes a lot less suffering to the slaughtered animal, as compared to the Halal slaughter procedure. I checked with the BB customer service about the Jhatka certification status of the relatively cheaper BB Fresho brand meats and was saddened to learn that all of that brand's meat portions are cut using Halal procedures and are Halal-certified!! :( I hope BB introduces its own Jhatka-certified meat products soon. P.S. I don't eat meat and am buying only for the house cat.
