This product from brand ‘Amul’ is a bar of milk chocolate, whose cocoa content is ‘single-origin’, sourced from the ‘Karavali’ region in South Karnataka, India. Such chocolate bars have a ‘uniform’ flavour, and are considered to be of superior quality when compared with ‘blended’ or ‘composite’ chocolates. This bar certainly lives up to such claims. The bar is pre-divided into a total of 27 thick squares, which can be easily shared with family and friends. It is akin to ‘Cadbury’ ‘Darkmilk’ ‘Original’ chocolate, with more of an underlying sweetness, which is, however, not cloyingly so. It is creamy and provides for a rich chocolatey mouthfeel. It is a lot better than other ‘Amul’ chocolate bars: ‘Milk’, ‘Dark’, and ‘White’ ones, which are also, in themselves, ‘addictive’. Overall, this product is well worth the purchase.
