I am seeing many negative reviews here. These appear dated. Perhaps the product and packing processes are improved now. 
I have bought Cothas (15% Chicory) decoction 4 or 5 times recently and found them excellent each time. Before and after opening the pack I keep it in the fridge. I would rate the product 5 stars.
