Each Bionova non-acidic Vitamin C tablets delivers 500mg buffered vitamin C. Vitamin C, as a health supplement, has multiple health benefits. It improves the brain function, immune system, collagen synthesis and iron absorption. Vitamin C has an active role in tissue repair and regeneration during injuries. Vitamin C supplementation also decreases the LDL cholesterol and triglycerides levels in the blood. Vitamin C prevents the stress induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS), reactive carbonyl species (RCS), nitrites and other free radicals. Vitamin C reduces the oxidative stress that is caused due to diabetes. This vitamin alleviates the symptoms of gingivitis and bleeding gums.
