It has a nice smell, and I sometimes leave it on entire night but I think the effectiveness also depends on when you put it on. For example if I put it on when mosquitoes are already there near me then I'm not sure it really drives them away. But when I put it on in the evening time, when mosquitoes usually come, I think they are driven away. But this could be due to change in weather also, usually we have more mosquitoes till around january/february but they become lesser in by april/may. Now it is almost july and I don't use it much because there are hardly any mosquitoes.

It's easy to use, but I forget to turn it off and leave it on whole night sometimes so the refills got over much faster than I expected.
