The simplicity of the cup is what attracted me. Loved the product. I am not certain what the outer layer or the coating is made of but it seems to come off as flimsy plastic bits. I have tried to remove the coating altogether but it just comes off in bits and pieces. That is the only issue I have with the product.

I like this mug for its medium quality build and appearance. One can safely buy this for everyday usage. I bought six of these and while the outside is pristine white, the inside of each mug has a yellowish tint -- not a problem for me.
