About the Product

Steelgrip is a reliable self-extinguishing electrical insulation tape which moulds itself to any surface. It is weather-proof, stretchable & non-ageing. It is self-adhesive PVC electrical insulation tape conforming to BIS standard IS 7809 (Part 3, Sec.1). This tape is extensively used in household as well as all segments of the industry viz. Electrical Appliance, Electronics, Telecom, Railways, Automobiles etc. It ensures complete and long-lasting electrical insulation of wiring joints. It is water-resistant and self-extinguishing in nature. It is available in five colours viz. Black, Blue, Green, Yellow & Red. It has a wide range of sizes to cater to different end-user segments.

1. Used in electrical insulation of electrical wires of 3 phase, wire joints in decorative lightings, lamps during festivals.

2. Insulating wire joints of electrical appliance like fan motors, Electric Iron, Water heater etc.

3. Used in all primary electrical insulation up to 440V. For joining cable terminals in submersible pumps. For strengthening and insulating Resistor, Capacitor leads in circuit boards, transformers, regulator leads etc.
