Our family turned vegan 4 years ago and goodmylk curd tastes just like the peanut curd I make at home.

Regardless of whether you are into veganism or not this non dairy product deserves notice. Yes, it is an acquired taste. However after two to three spoonfuls, you will get used to it. You can get the subtle after taste of peanuts with every mouthful. Preferably have it plain. The consistency is similar to creamy dosa batter but it definitely looks and tastes like curd. If you have an open mind to try out alternative nutritional options, this should be a must have in your diet.

Well if you have been using dairy curd up until now and if you are giving this a try, you may not like the taste of this. 
That said, do not decide on one go, try at least twice, as you are trying to compare it to something that you have developed taste for years.
It's very similar to when we are asked to put off packed fried chips for our health. The only reason we eat them is for its taste, but if practised for some time to avoid them and concentrate on your health, overtime you will reduce cravings for it and your body/mind will say a stronger NO to it and if not able to completely avoid it, you will reduce its consumption and frequency to a significant extent.  
The protein take away is almost same as Dairy's. 
It is Probiotic. In fact most of the things that are fermented are probiotic. So this is natural tummy friendly product.
