No doubt the wicks are thin, and may not be suitable for traditional diya but if you use it for small to medium size akhand diya it works great. we have been using it for a few days and it works fine. Mix two wicks to make a single wick.

Yes, the wicks are thin, but for our diya I use three wicks twisted together and they burn so well and fully , I just love them.
