Bauwens Smoked Breakfast Ham is made from Pork leg. The pork leg is brined, cured and carefully trimmed. It is then naturally smoked to perfection over a mixture of hickory and applewood chips for up to 30 hours. The ham is infused with the natural smoke flavour to give it an authentic taste. Manufactured at USA. Packed as per Customer requirement. Not a standard pack under weights & Measurement Guidelines. Consume within 05 days from date of Packing. Store in refrigerator at or below 05 degree C in an airtight container.

Tasty pork ham and not too fatty
I like this pork ham as it isn't too fatty. It is a little salty but that is expected in pork products, and you don't taste the extra salt in a sandwich. It is a bit expensive at over ?1000 for a kilo, but I don't have to worry about the quality of the product or whether it has any unhealthy additives. I purchase pork ham only in winter as I don't purchase any pork products in summer.

Real ham or reconstituted and shaped?
It's not bad, and has an advantage in not being two-thirds fat. But I would hesitate to recommend it. I can't figure out if it is a reconstituted meat or a piece rolled very tight and processed. No ham eaten in seven decades has looked like this....

Bought this product the first time and it was great, everything was cut up nicely. Ordered it for a second time and I received what looked like chopped up dog food. Really dissatisfied with the product I received and it was hot. I did not feel safe eating it so had to discard the whole package. Please try to maintain the consistency of your perishable items!
