horrible! looks like green dal was colored black and sold as "organic black dal"

This is the green dal, coloured black. This is pathetic, especially when you pay extra for the so called organic stuff.

After cooking for an hour, 10% of the seeds are still not cooked. Some low quality or duplicate kinds of seeds are put together in dal.

poor quality seeds are mixed 

On 10th October, 2024 got delivery of BB Royal Urad Black Whole Dal. Packet was opened on 26.12.24 for cooking. When washed it with water it started leaving it's black colour. Half of the lentil seeds turned from black to green (turned to Moong Whole green) and the second half remained black. We don't expect a Tata group company to supply us with artificially coloured pulses. I can send the photo but there's no provision to attach image file here 

the dal is coated with some dark colour to look black in colour
