Annapoorna Ready Mix - Nattu Kozhi Kulambu, 50 g

Chili, Cumin, Coriander, Pepper, Mustard, Fenugreek, Fennel, Curry leaf, Coconut Powder, Salt, Poppy seed, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Refined Groundnut Oil.

Fry 1 cup of small onions in 3tbsp of gingelly oil until golden brown. Add 50g of this packet contents and saute for 2 mins in medium heat. Remove from heat, let the mixture cool down and grind it into a fine paste. Boil 700-800g of chicken with the grinded paste and necessary water in a deep vessel. Cover the vessel with the lid and cook in medium flame until the chicken is almost done. Season the kulambu with mustard & curry leaves fried in 4tbsp ginelly oil and let the kulambu cook in low flame without cover for 5mins. (Add salt if required). Authentic Nattu Kozhi Kulambu is ready to serve. Marinate 800g of chicken with 50g of this packet contents for 30 minutes. Heat 3tbsp of gingelly oil to fry 2 onions until it becomes translucent. Add marinated chicken (and minimum amount of water) and saute for few minutes. Cover the chicken with the lid and cook in medium flame until it is almost done. saute the chicken every 5 minutes so that it does not stick to the bottom. Once the chicken is done, season it with curry leaves fried in ginelly oil.
