Chili, Cumin, Coriander, Ginger , Garlic, Mustard, fennel, Pepper, Shredded Coconut, Poppy Seed, Salt, Mint, Bay leaves, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Star anise, Cloves, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Refined groundnut oil.

Option 1: Pressure cook 700g of mutton with 35g of this packet contents and necessary water. Once the pressure subsides, open the lid and cook the boiled mutton in high flame until excess water evaporates. In a kadai heat 4tbsp of gingelly oil to fry mustard, turn off the flame and add 15g of this packet contents. Now add this seasoning to the boiled mutton and saute continuously until mutton becomes crunchy dry (add salt if required). Add gingelly oil so that meat does not stick to the bottom while sauteing. Tasty Mutton Chukka Varuval is ready to serve. *Use Minced meat instead of cubed mutton to make kothukari. Option 2: Mutton Balls. Grind 500g of meat in jar of mixer/blender in to a fine paste. In a wide bowl mix ground meat with 50g of this packet contents, a whole egg & required salt. Make lemon size balls of the above mixture and deep fry them in medium heat for 7-8 mins. Make sure the balls are golden brown and not burnt.
