This is the original "jau ghodi" as it is called in kannada.
This is available in solapur district of Maharashtra for 60 rupees kg. as it is produced and consumed in that area only.
Cost wise it is expensive.

This broken wheat of Samba variety Comes from a kerala brand. It's the tastiest one in market, and has a darker brown tint than regular wheat dalia. I also prefer Samba to other varieties like sharbati or khapli. It's good to cook as a rice substitute or rava substitute in upma.. Has a good texture and goes down fast like rice. I hope for some of the Samba smell like you get in Samba rice, but that's not too be found in this brand. Cheaper than any so called organic brand and tastes fresh too.

It is an excellent product except that the price is on the higher side. Rupees 116/- is pretty high. Otherwise it is finr
