Earlier 24 Mantra organic sona masoori rice used to be an authentic organic grain which we could feel by the kind of taste and texure the cooked rice finishes be it in a rice cooker or direct flame or even a pressure cooker requiring a min soaking time of half hour. The Gylcemic index used to be superior as one could feel from the time it used to sustain our hunger before the next meal. Now it is just a low GI rice which doesnt even need pre soaking and takes just as much time as white rice and quite soft and low nutty fibre texture while eating. So trying other alternatives this time

I Had bought 24 Mantra Organic Brown Rice 5 kg Pack from Bigbasket on 4th September 2020. The quality of the Rice is Very  very bad, you see Maggots in the rice. This kind of experience is never experienced with 24 Mantra. looks like Bigbasket is sourcing sub standard old , spoiled Rice!! Huge letdown

While cleaning with water this rice doesn't leave any polish. Just one clean and we are done. Nice. Authentic product.
