I bought this sometime ago thinking the paste is going to be convenient to use. But it's horrible and stale. I added to sambhar and it has become black. Why is this even being sold? Don't buy

the product is pathetic,  it stinks and some gel like thing packaged was alrwady open

Please do not order this product. it contains Sand and small stone particles in each an every packets i tested 6 packets and all of them have same thing. how can someone sell construction sand filled Tamarind paste it's big surprise 

if you have purchased already make sure to deasolved with water and strain with the strainer do not add paste directly into your food production.
