Nirapara Pathiri Podi

About the Product

Pathiri is a traditional dish which is exclusive to the palette of the Kerala cuisine. It is a thin rice pancake made of finely ground rice. Pathiri or Pathil is a tasty breakfast/dinner dish, which tastes good with especially non-vegetarian accompaniments. 

Although it is a staple diet of the Muslim community, primarily in North Malabar, Pathiri has already made its mark across Kerala due to its extreme light texture and melting softness. Nirapara Pathiri powder is ground to perfection, making it the perfect ingredient for mouth-watering Pathiris.

Ingredients
  • Raw Rice
How to Use
  • Add 1/4 tsp coconut oil and required salt to 1 glass of water and boil it. 
  • When it boils, and add 1 glass of Nirapara Pathiri Podi in small quantity. 
  • Stir this only after 1 minute. Remove it from the stove and keep it close.
  • After 1 minute put this warm mixture in a flat vessel and mix it thoroughly giving good pressure till the dough becomes soft. 
  • Make small balls out of this and press it in the pathiri press. 
  • Grill this pathiri in a frying pan absolutely without oil.
