Product Highlights!

The time tested ayurvedic technique - Wooden Ghani

Wood pressing is a time honored tradition from ayurveda and ancient India. This method is used to press the seeds or flowers to extract oil in Wooden Ghani/kolhu/chekku (wooden vessel). Jivika Naturals Wood Pressed Mustard Oil is pressed under 45°C to preserve its nutrients. There are no preservatives, or adulterants added, making it unrefined, pure and authentic.
This technique is popular as it retains the nutrients, fragrance, and purity which otherwise gets lost in conventional methods owing to its high temperatures.

Best way to use Mustard Oil

Mustard oil is best used to sauté vegetables or is added to dressings and marinades. It is also great for stir-frying, and seasoning everything from rice to salads. Its pleasant grain-like odor and slightly nutty aroma blends with different cuisines.

Good for heart

Mustard oil is great for the heart. In fact, the oil has a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids, a majority of which is Omega-6 fatty acids. These unsaturated fats are good for the heart as they help in lowering the levels of LDL cholesterol.
