Cooking Guidelines (Serves 2-3)
- Cook 1/2 teacup Toor Dal (50 g)
- In a saucepan, fry red chillies, mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil
- Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown
- To this, add 1 tablespoon (10 g) of Aashirvaad Sambar Masala, dal, chopped vegetable of your choice and tamarind juice/tomatoes
- Add salt to taste
- Boil for about 10 minutes
- Garnish with chopped coriander
- Serve hot
