Where are refunds processed?
Refunds are credited to your bbWallet by default. If you prefer, you can request to have the refund processed back to your original payment method. -
What are delivery and handling charges?
Delivery and handling charges are levied for the safe and careful delivery of your orders.They may vary depending on your location and the basket value for operational and business reasons, such as distance, logistics, and service availability in specific areas. Packaging charges may be levied for Food & Beverage orders by our restaurant partners. -
What is the Tobacco Convenience Charge?
Convenience charge is a flat charge added to orders containing tobacco products, which ensures safe and secure handling of tobacco products. -
Does bigbasket ask for sensitive information like bank details or PIN?
No. bigbasket never asks for anything beyond your registered name, address, phone number, and/or email ID. If anyone claiming to be from bigbasket asks for bank details, PIN, or card information, please do not share it and report to us immediately.

If you place an order without a valid prescription, a registered doctor or medical practitioner from the pharmacy service provider will call you for a virtual consultation and issue a prescription. There are no charges for a virtual consultation. -
What should I do if my product arrives damaged?
Don’t worry if you receive a damaged or unsealed product; just return it to the delivery partner at the time of delivery.

Can I return the appliance I ordered?
Appliances can be returned within 7 days of delivery. However, products that require demo and installation are eligible for return only if they are unboxed and validated by the brand/authorised service provider. -
What is open box delivery?
For any high-value electronic products, our delivery partner will open the package in your presence so you can quickly check the product and its condition, and then accept the order if satisfied. This open box delivery does not include installation or demo. -
Why is an OTP needed for some deliveries?
Certain electronic products may require OTP verification at the time of delivery to ensure the order is handed over safely to you. -
Are all electronic products returnable?
No. Once the OTP is submitted at delivery, the product cannot be returned unless the issue is reported within 7 days and meets return eligibility. -
What is the installation process?
